Carolina

Carolina is known as the "land of the giants" and as the town of the "tumba armos". The first name is due to one of its inhabitants: Felipe Birriel Fernández, nicknamed "the giant of Carolina" which measured seven feet and eleven inches. The second responds to the ancient practice of resolving conflicts in a duel with machetes.

Luquillo

Luquillo, Puerto Rico Capital of the Sun Luquillo is known as the "City of eternal summer", the "Capital of the Sun" and the "Riviera of Puerto Rico". Its inhabitants are known as “Los Turistas” and “Los Come Coco”. Despite the fact that most of the territory is flat, its topography presents some minor elevations belonging to the Sierra de Luquillo in the south and southeast.

Fajardo

Fajardo, Puerto Rico The Cariduros Fajardo is known as the "Pueblo de los Cariduros", this due to the resistance that its inhabitants presented to invasions of foreign peoples since the time of the Spanish colony. Also, due to its geographical location, it is designated as "The City of the Rising Sun" since it is the first town on the island of Puerto Rico (the big island) to receive the sun. Fajardo has an extensive coastline with beautiful beaches and ports. It is the main point of transportation between Puerto Rico and its island municipalities.
